Wal-Mart's Christmas Ad Match Policy

I am going to try and help with any confusion all of these dang policies may cause. Wal-Mart recently released, and very much so, publicized their newest "Christmas Ad Match" Policy.
All you have to do is make sure to hold on to your receipts from now until December 24th. If you see something that you purchased, exactly the same, in someone Else's ad for cheaper, take in your receipt and the ad, head to Customer Service, and they will give you the difference on a gift card.
Of course, there are exclusions.
Offer excludes: Thanksgiving Day or Black Friday ads, expired ads, offers with gift cards, Internet pricing, percentage-off pricing, clearance or ads with typographical errors, private-label items, alcohol, tobacco, prescription drugs, optical and wireless products that require a service agreement.

Alright so what does this mean? If you purchased something today for example and were flipping through ads on December 23, and just happen to come across the exact same thing you purchased, like a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, but it was $20 cheaper at let's say Kmart...You take your receipt and Kmart's ad with you to Customer Service. Show them. They put the $20 onto a gift card. Easy as pie
. Now what the heck with this NO BLACK FRIDAY AND THANKSGIVING DAY matching?!?!? Forget about it. All that means is that if you bought something today and saw it cheaper on a BF ad...sorry about your luck, that is a deal they won't be matching.
That doesn't mean that you cannot price match a BF ad on Black Friday though. There is nothing in their regular ad match policy that states Black Friday is excluded. As long as you are still following all the rules, which would be matching sale date to sale date, [make sure if the sale is only from 6am-10am you are at Wal-Mart to PM at THAT TIME] plus all the other normal things; size, brand, color, quantity, etc.
I know some Wal-Mart locations may be more hard about it than others, it all depends on your CSM and how compliant they want to be. If they won't match it, politely inform them you'll just go to that store and purchase the item then...that usually gets them ;).

Any questions or comments, feel free to share.
