This reader went to LeMars Hy-Vee and was able to get 4 bottles of Purex Free and Clear for $3.99 per 150oz bottle. Without any coupons, that alone is a great deal because that's just a little over 2.5 cents per ounce! Of course though, any coupon makes a sale better and this person had two excellent ones.
They used (2) $3/2 bottles of Purex 128oz+ from RP 10/06 (x 11/03).
After coupons their total came to $9.96 for all 4 bottles of detergent or just $2.49 each!!! That's only a little over 1.5 cents per ounce!
How have your deals turned out with the 2 day and 3 day sales happening in your area? Or just the normal weekly sales? Saving even $1 is still saving more than you would have without coupons, so don't consider it a fail. Getting great deals doesn't happen over night, but it happens a lot quicker if you keep my blog in your bag of tricks. ;)
