Make your own Uncrustables at an Un-painful Price

http://service.jmslinks.com/WebService/ProdAdminImage.ashx?id=907Being as school has begun, some children like to bring cold lunches to school, which isn't uncommon in this day and age anymore. Well, I was at the store and walking by the frozen case when I stumbled upon the Smucker's Uncrustables. A box of 10 of these sandwiches can run for $5.98 and upwards depending on which store you are shopping at. Seriously!?!?At a fraction of the cost, you can make these yourself and I will prove it to you. This week at Fareway, sandwich bread is on sale for $.99, Jif PB is on sale for $1.98 and jelly is as well. For all three of those things, you pay $4.95 or $5.94 for 2 loaves and some PB and J. Now comes the fun part. Let's make our own "uncrustables".

Get two pieces of bread out. Spread peanut butter on both slices. Put a glob of jelly in the middle of one. Fold your sandwich, use a glass that will cut all crust off and you have your own "uncrustable." Want to get really fancy? Take a fork and press down the sides. How much easier can it be? Exact same product and a fraction of the cost. Another awesome thing, you can put them in freezer bags and shove them in your freezer. If the kids want to take one for lunch, just put it in the fridge the night before. :)
