Small (but totally fun and worth it!!!) Lesson

Here are three different pictures of things you have all probably seen. The first image is that of a tear pad. What a tear pad is, is basically what it sounds like. A pad of paper that you tear off. They are usually attached to a shelf or sticking off of them like this one. The second image is something called a peelie. Another pretty self explanatory name. A coupon that you can peel off of the product and use at the register the same trip. The third image is a blinkie. I guess all these names are rather simple. It's just nice to have them explained so that if you ever hear them all you have to say is DUH. A blinkie is a machine with flashing lights that "blink". Pull the bottom coupon out and another one is automatically released. The one in my picture has seen better days though.
I hope this helps. If you were so terribly concerned about tear pads, peelies and blinkies.
The best place to find these are stores like Fareway and Dollar General.

Wal-Mart tends to have these on quite a few products. Most local stores have them too though, they're usually stuck on by the company but sometimes the stores will take the time to post them on things too.

Fareway and Dollar General. I don't know if I have ever seen one in Wal-Mart. Smaller places.
